Written by We polled, you responded, and now we’re adding it to the system! In version 6.0.9 next month, we’re adding an optional “Account Name” field to the Check Layout screen, just like we asked you about in a poll this past October.

The account name defaults to hidden, but you can easily turn it on to include it on your checks. On the Check Layout screen, head to the Blank Check Fields tab and set the “Account Name” field to “Print.” Alter the “Top” and “Left” values to reposition the field.
In this example, I’ve positioned the account name beneath the client name on the check. Here’s how that would look:
Of course, you can position the account name wherever makes the most sense for your current check layout.
