Planned upgrade changes – New payment methods!

You spoke up, and we made it happen! In May, we polled our RPM users to determine which new payment methods to add to the software. You can see the results of that poll here: https://rpmccs.com/poll-results-new-payment-methods/

Based on those responses, we’ve decided to add three additional payment methods to RPM!

Since more than half of respondents said they might use either “ATM/Cash” or “Credit Card” payment methods, we decided to add both of those. In addition, we wanted to account for both the “True Link” and “Debit Card” suggestions, so we decided to include one general “Debit Card” category that could be used in both situations.

See the image below for an example of what the updated payment method options will look like:

We anticipate that you might have existing scheduled payments in RPM that you would like to update to make use of these new payment methods. To do that, just use the Scheduled Payments Update utility! Detailed instructions and a video tutorial showing how that screen works can be found here: https://rpmccs.com/resources/schedule-update-utilities/

Thanks for all your input, everyone! As I’ve said many times before, feedback from our client companies it the number one thing that helps us make RPM the best it can be.

Will you be using these new payment methods? Comment below and let me know!

    1. The debit card payment method isn’t currently set up to be exportable, but we can always add that suggestion to our list. Is there a particular reason why payments you want to export couldn’t be set up with the XEFT payment method?

      1. we have a card company with the same routing number for a lot of clients, with that being said once we take it to excel, we have to Add a Zero to the beginning of the Routing number and if we add the personal accounts that are different routing numbers to that list, it is very time consuming to fix the odd routing numbers with the number of accounts we transfer too
