Poll results: Most confusing part of RPM

Our latest poll asked you to lay it all on the line and let me know what the most confusing, time-consuming, or complicated part of RPM is for you. There were a few instances of overlap in the responses, but in general, almost everyone said something different!

I will be following up with respondents individually if I have any input about your comments. For some of you, these follow-up emails will explain how to accomplish what you want to do using existing features in RPM. For others, I’ll be asking clarifying questions to make sure we fully understand what you’re suggesting.

In case you’re curious, here’s the graphic breakdown of the categories you indicated were relevant to your answers.

*Please note that each respondent might have selected more than one answer, so this graph does not reflect a one-to-one correspondence between respondents and x-axis answer values.

Since “Transactions” and “Clients” are broad categories that apply to many parts of the system, it makes sense that these would be frequently chosen answers. “Reports” and “Reconciliation” are more specific, and we will be working on making those more user-friendly going forward.

Finally, I want to remind everyone of two things:

  1. We have a wealth of articles, including instructional videos, available for free on our website at https://rpmccs.com/resources/. These will answer almost any question you have about RPM. If you’re looking for a specific topic and can’t find it, let me know—I’ll either direct you to it, or I’ll add a new article for you.

  2. On any screen in RPM, you can click Help in the upper right of the ribbon menu to open a blurb explaining that screen. If you’re ever confused about something, this is a quick and easy way to get clarity!

Thanks again for all your feedback, folks! As always, if you think of any other suggestions for RPM, I’d love to hear them.
