What else did we do to the transfers in RPM? You guessed it—we made them exportable!
Coming up in 6.0.9, we’ve added an “Export Transfer” payment method you can choose when you make transfers between different accounts. This was the topic of a poll back in November, if you recall (and if you don’t, here’s the place you can refresh your memory about the results: rpmccs.com/poll-results-exporting-transfers/).
This payment method functions just like the “XEFT” payment method in that the system prompts you to export that transfer to a file after it’s been entered or processed. For those of you who transfer money into clients’ savings accounts, this is now the perfect way to accomplish that fully electronically.
On the Export XEFT Transactions screen, there will be a new selection option to allow you to export a separate file of just transfer transactions. Selecting “All” will also include these transfer transactions within your full export file.
You will also be able to see transfers waiting to be exported in the new “Transactions Not Exported” table at the bottom of the screen. Check it out below!
We’re working hard on the finishing touches of the 6.0.9 upgrade! Next week we’ll be doing the final reveals of changes we’ve made, so stay tuned.
